Leon is a German-Nigerian football player, who has played 46 times for the Nigerian national football team – the Super Eagles. He currently plays his football for Glasgow Rangers in Scotland, having played previously in the German Bundesliga for Mainz 05, and in the English Premier League side, Brighton & Hove Albion. Leon is a bronze medal winner at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations staged in Egypt; and has had success in the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup, as a winner.
Very passionate about his roots, Leon is determined to do what is in his power to inspire the future generation to see the positives in identifying with their Nigerian side. He has always been available to stand up for his country, and for sports men and women to encourage them, support them and inspire them to reach great heights in their chosen sport.
